Apple Might Make You Pay $20 Per Month for Its AI Features

Apple Intelligence, unveiled in June, has generated significant interest despite its delayed launch, which is now anticipated for October. A primary concern among analysts centers on the service’s pricing model, as its sustainability beyond a free introductory period is uncertain.

Speculation regarding the cost of Apple Intelligence has intensified, with a recurring estimate suggesting a monthly fee of $20. However, some analysts propose a potentially lower price point if included within the Apple One subscription bundle.

It’s important to note that the information regarding the potential pricing of Apple Intelligence is based solely on speculation from analysts and does not constitute a confirmed leak or rumor.

While these projections may lack concrete evidence, the possibility of a $20 monthly fee, or even a higher price, is not entirely unexpected. Apple has a history of establishing premium pricing for its products and services, aligning with its brand image and financial objectives.

It is unclear whether Apple will follow the same route as Samsung, offering its AI features for free in the first two years before charging a monthly fee. Samsung’s Galaxy AI is already available on several older flagships, but it is also planned to roll out to budget devices later this year and in the future.

However, unlike Samsung, Apple will likely keep Apple Intelligence limited to a few phones given the company’s usual practice of making its new features exclusive to newer smartphones.
